Coyote Glaze Contest

Call for entries and contest rules

Welcome to the 2011 Coyote Glaze Competition! This is a great opportunity to get exposure for your work on a national level, and a chance to win cash or free glaze. The contest is open to anyone who uses Coyote Glazes or Underglazes, and the top entries will not only be used on our flyer and website, seen by thousands of people nationwide, but also featured in our ads in Ceramics Monthly and Pottery Making Illustrated. All work must be glazed with Coyote Glazes and/or Underglazes only. By entering this contest you agree to grant publication rights to Coyote Clay & Color. We will be using these images for our magazine ads, web pages and flyers, so your work (and your name!) could be seen by Ceramics Monthly and Pottery Making Illustrated's combined readership of over two hundred thousand!

Prizes:

1st Prize: $250 Cash

2nd Prize: $150 Cash

3rd - 5th Prize: $75 in Coyote Glazes

Contest Rules:

Deadline for entries is October 1st, 2011. Winners will be announced by October 15th, 2011.

We will accept up to 8 entries per person.

Preferred format is digital photos (.tiff, or. jpeg files), emailed to clayncolor@aol.com or mail us a disc at 5107 Edith Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87107. We can also accept prints, but please no slides. Prints or discs will not be returned. Don't forget to include your name, address and phone number, as well as which glazes you used and the primary method of application (whether brushing or dipping.)

You must keep the exact piece to be entered available for our photographer to shoot if you win. We will be selecting finalists weekly, so if you want to know if you need to continue saving the piece you entered, send us an email. If you haven't been selected for the finalist list, you can go ahead and sell your work.

All work must be glazed using only Coyote Glazes or Underglazes. Please list which glazes were used with your entries.

By entering this contest you agree to grant publication rights to Coyote Clay & Color. We will be using these images for our magazine ads, web pages and flyers.
